It is our desire at Grace Covenant that by working together we will be able show the love of God. We will build a community who will be well equipped to handle the diversity of problems that face us in this world and be prepared to rejoice at the return of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, a revelation of God to man, which contains the entire word of God, besides which there is no revelation. There is one God, who manifested Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Jesus is God, manifest in the flesh, God incarnate and is called the Son of God in human relationship.
We believe in salvation by baptism in the name of Jesus and the infilling of the Holy Ghost evidence by speaking in other tongues as he spirit of God gives utterance. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Pastor Alan Young was born in Michigan, it was here in 1975 where he was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost under the tutelage of the late Suffragan Bishop Harold Scott of Cassopolis, MI. After many years of teaching and training, the Lord led Pastor Young and family to Austin, TX. Where they became members of the First Pentecostal Church until 1986. While there he and his wife Veronica heeded God's call and established Grace Temple Church in October 1986. The Church started with four members: Pastor and wife Veronica, along with their two sons Christopher and Craig. And through the years the church has expanded and reached many souls. Pastor Young was ordained in 1987 and was elevated to the office of District Elder in 1994 through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World organization. |
EVANGELIST VERONICA YOUNG, PASTOR'S WIFE | |

A young girl 17 years old pregnant and unmarried. Not the best way to start ones adult life. Does the future hold a lifetime on public assistance? College? Is all hope lost? What a start! This is the beginning of my adult life (I wasn't even an adult) but let me tell you of the goodness of God. I came to the Lord at 19 years old. By that time I was married with two little children. God saved me and then my husband. We devoted our lives to God and He has given us many of the desires of our hearts and I know more is on the way. |
